THEATRE ETIQUETTE
Talking, unwrapping candy are distracting to the actors and your fellow audience members. Please turn off any pagers, watch alarms, and cellular phones prior to the performance.
LATE SEATING
The theatre is open to the public one half hour prior to the performance. Due to the intimate nature of our theatre and in consideration of all patrons, late comers will be seated by the House Manager at a suitable break or interval.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Taking of photographs or operation of any recording device in the theatre is strictly prohibited.
SMOKING
There is no smoking anywhere in the Town Hall Complex.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
We make every effort to “go on with the show” as scheduled. Because of this, we urge all ticket holders to make every reasonable effort* to attend their scheduled performances. In the unlikely event that we do cancel, we make every effort to contact all ticket holders via phone, email and through the media.
We will accommodate ticket holders at another performance within the current production whenever possible. Any exchanges are based on availability at remaining performances. Seat assignments cannot be guaranteed.
Please refer to the website for any special announcements if a performance is cancelled due to events out of the theatre's control. In the case of a cancellation where the patron is unable to attend any remaining performances, we will issue ticket vouchers for another production during the year or a refund.
*In the event that a patron cannot attend due to home area conditions, the Thomaston Opera House will make every effort to accommodate at an alternate performance. Any exchanges are based on availability at remaining performances. Seat assignments cannot be guaranteed.
